The Bashers Franchise was initially established in 2005, competing as the Brighton Bashers as one of the foundation teams of the
"MGS OM '07 NFL Fantasy Football League"

With player salaries exploding in the early 2000's. the franchise moved their head office to Europe for some time to attempt a new system of player discovery, simply running onto the field as "The Bashers" before making their Australian return with a temporary home, based in Port Melbourne as the Bourough Bashers.

Franchise owner and head coach, von Sanden, was always sure that the team needed to do better than consistently playing finals and invested his own capital to finally find the team a permanent home in Balaclava with the state of the art KOP.

Success followed shortly with a championship in 2016 and a follow up championship in 2020. The Balaclava Bashers remain as one of the most successful franchises in the history of the league with an even brighter future yet to be written...
